Master by Coursework
Starting from Session 2019/2020, the master by coursework programmes offered by Department of Electrical Engineering are
- Master of Telecommunication Engineering*
This programme will expose students to various aspects of telecommunications engineering such as telecommunication network, analysis and design of telecommunication network, advanced digital communication, antenna and propagation. This programme will enable engineers to apply the skills and specialist knowledge required for a career in the modern telecommunications industry.
Career opportunities for the Masters graduates exist in the design/development of frontier communications technology, digital communications, signal processing, wireless systems, etc.
- Master of Industrial Electronic and Control Engineering*
The Master of Engineering (Industrial Electronics and Control) programme is designed to meet the needs of industry by offering young engineers the critical skills needed to be successful in an engineering career. Students will acquire the knowledge needed to supervise and manage engineering projects in the fields of industrial electronics and automatic control: design and development of analogue, digital and power electronic systems and industrial control and automation systems.
Some of the career opportunities are the design, installation and maintenance of electronic control, power and instrumentation systems, management and maintenance of industrial equipment and installations, drafting of technical, advisory and feasibility reports.
