Academic Advisor (AA)

Introduction

An Academic Advisor is responsible for:

  • assisting students in the selection of courses and the number of credits they will take prior to the commencement of the semester; and
  • providing guidance to students in overcoming problems related to learning, if any, based on the students’ academic performance.

What To Do?

All students (first-year to final-year) are required to meet your academic advisor (AA) by week 3 and week 10 of every semester. Kindly make an appointment with your AA to set up a meeting.

AA Meeting Starting Semester 1, 2020/2021

Due to the implementation of e-learning on Semester 1, 2020/2021, the meeting with your respective academic advisor (AA) should be arranged virtually. Starting from Semester 1, 2020/2021, after the first meeting with your AA, you are needed to fill in the AA Action Plan Form or AA Action Plan Form (for First Year Sem 1) and upload to the link below. Students need to upload the filled AA Action Plan Form only once every semester (ie. after the first meeting of each semester)
