Course Title: Electrical Power Utilization

Course Description: This course provides an in-depth knowledge on electrical wiring and installation systems in observance of national and international regulations and standards. The course also introduces various aspects of electrical power utilization especially in modern electrical applications.

1. Design wiring circuits and electrical installation system in observance of appropriate electrical codes and standards. Test (10%), final examination (20%) and assignment (10%)
2. Evaluate the characteristics of electrical traction systems. Test (10%), final examination (20%) and assignment (5%)
3. Analyse the concept of various electrical heating methods. Assignment (5%) and final examination (20%)
