Lecturers:

(Group 1, 2) Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Moghavvemi
(Group 3) Dr. Marizan Binti Mubin

Course Details

Course Code: KIE3006

Course Title: Control System

Credit Hour: 3

Course Description: This course presents the basic knowledge of control engineering and modelling. It gives an understanding of 1st and 2nd order system behaviour. Topics covered include time and frequency domain descriptions of systems, properties of linear time invariant systems, stability, principles of feedback, control systems analysis, and design of simple controllers.

Alignment of Learning Outcomes to Assessment

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLO)

PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLO)

METHOD OF ASSESSMENT & ASSESSMENT WEIGHTAGE

PLO2 PLO4 PLO10
1. Determine models of physical systems in forms suitable for use in the analysis and design of control systems. Test (20%) and final examination (20%)
2. Analyse the behaviour of linear time invariant system in time and frequency domain. Final examination (40%)
